In person, I prefer dogs. As a subject of photography, however, cats are better. Somehow it always seems that all felines love the attention they receive when the shot is being taken. Dogs simply don't care too much.
As far as I know, he's a he :) I had to sit patiently for a long while to get him to look at me just right, before clicking... but finally, I got what I had been looking for.

I've known this guy since he was a kitten, and although my family
