each photograph has a story to tell.. will come back to this one!! I love the one with the broken down house... I once wrote a post on one such house..with the tag line from asian paints ad "har ghar kuch kehta hai..ki andar isme kaun rehta hai" when you look at it..u can feel what must have once happened in that house...once upon a time and ur free to make your own story your own life for that house..awesome power in your hands...

I was on a cycle rickshaw when I clicked that picture of the broken down house. Interesting how that tagline of Asian Paints fits so wonderfully, even for a broken house like that.

I stood in the corner Earning for food Straight as a monument Up in the bubbles Memory of the old Saluting the new Tied up in knots Walking with no clue One in the crowd Or just walking alone Leaning against A hazy l’il road One in the crowd Or walking alone Dead as a rope Or tired as the old Waiting to be back Like the wire from the pole I look down and walk And I’m scared to cross A window is open And my house is broken Tangled like a kite Or rolling like a wheel A bird on the wire Or working on steel The epitome of god is standing still The sun will still rise And the birds will still sing.
each line is each photograph.. soesnt make much sense.. and is quite vague.. but I kinda like it.!!
@ Niti... Brilliant!! :) Loved every line, somehow made the pictures come alive, every one of them! Thank you for that beautiful poem... and yes, it did make sense. The parts that mattered, at least...
nice. it was fun to visit through the eye of your lens. i really like the black and white street scenes.
